Unleash Your Creativity with Graphic Design: Wearable & Sticker Edition!
In this dynamic class, nerd designers will dive into the world of vector design software as they embark on a journey to create their own custom wearable designs and stickers. Discover the secrets of graphic design principles such as color balance and visual composition, and learn how to apply them using cutting-edge technology.
From brainstorming to final product, nerds will bring their ideas to life, designing eye-catching graphics that reflect their unique style and vision. Then, utilizing our industrial vinyl cutter, students will transform their designs into custom stickers, perfect for personalizing notebooks, laptops, and more.
And what’s a graphic design class without some wearable art? Depending on the session, students will have the option to create either a custom t-shirt or a drawstring backpack/tote bag using our heat press.
2025 Session Options:
👕 T-Shirt & Stickers (Week 1 & 3) – Students design and press their own custom t-shirt.
🛍️ Bag & Stickers (Week 2 & 4) – Students design and press a drawstring backpack or tote bag instead of a t-shirt.
***T-shirts or bags will be provided – be sure to update your nerd’s size in your profile!

It’s especially superb for anyone who wants to see how art and technology can be combined to do amazing things like create t-shirt designs and print 2D graphics! No artistic skills necessary – whether you’re a master artist, or you think you can’t draw, you’ll have a great time in this class!
Nerds make...
In this class, we’ll turn our designs into real graphics! Nerds can use our vinyl cutter to bring their ideas to life. We’ll use Gravit Designer, a high-end vector graphics design app! After putting our designs together on Gravit, we’ll turn them into vinyl stickers. Each Nerd even gets their very own t-shirt to print their custom design on! You can even use our heat press to press your designs and see them being printed onto your shirts ?.
Nerds learn...
In this class, we’ll learn about the fundamentals of graphic design! We’ll discuss cool topics like typography, vector images, and visual composition. We’ll also learn about color and balance, and talk about how we can build the color palette of our designs to make them visually appealing. We’ll even dive into some applications of graphic design as we talk about making logos, stickers, and other decals!

What to Bring to Class
SUMMER & BREAK CLASSES ONLY: Class is 3hrs each day, so bring a snack for break time. Also, bring your own refillable water bottle. Don’t have one? Add our Nerding water bottle to your order and pick up on first day of class!
